Worship Leader

 

Tina has been leading worship for over ten years now.  Tina gets invited to lead worship at other churches and events. Her heart is to minister to the congregation and the people she comes into contact with. She leads with a passion and has a wonderful way of ushering others into the presence of the Lord.

    Tina's very first piano was purchased by her father from a bar for $100.00. Tina's family could not afford piano lessons, so she taught herself to play the piano. Her high school choir teacher helped her learn to read the notes. Tina played constantly on the piano and soon began writing her own music at the age of thirteen. She spends most of her mornings having her quiet time at the piano with her Bible in hand. Many of Tina's songs come from her personal quiet time and journey.

    Tina has been singing since she was a little girl. She learned much of her singing while in Jr. High and High School choir. She later went on to study Music at West Texas State A & M University in Canyon,Texas where she majored in Music Therapy and studied voice.

     

    Along with her worship opportunities, Tina has had the following privileges: 

     

    Cast as vocalist for "Texas" muical drama, Canyon, TX

     

    Sang on "Texas" soundtrack

     

    Cast as vocalist for musical Drama -  "The Promise" - Glenrose, TX

     

    Understudy for Mary at the Cross

     

    Sang with the "Texas" cast for the Legislature in Asutin, TX
